Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe Alleges Deliberate Errors in Voters’ Register

Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, a founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has voiced concerns that the errors in Ghana’s voters’ register, compiled by the Electoral Commission (EC), are intentional. He urged EC Chairperson Jean Mensa to address the grievances raised by the opposition NDC and other political parties. According to him, failure to rectify the errors could plunge the country into chaos. Dr. Nyaho also called for a forensic audit of the register to dispel any perception of bias favoring the NPP over the opposition.

He further warned that refusing to address these issues would undermine public trust in the election process, creating suspicions about the EC’s impartiality. In an interview, Dr. Nyaho reiterated his appeal, stating, “If she is not careful, she will walk this country into destruction.” He emphasized that resolving the concerns and conducting an independent audit would be crucial to maintaining peace and transparency ahead of the upcoming elections.
