Davido Unveils New Social Media App “Chatter” in Latest Digital Venture
Afrobeats superstar Davido has officially launched his own social media app, Chatter. The singer made the announcement on his official X account on Friday, revealing that he co-owns the app with his close friend, Sir Banko.
Chatter is described as a social audiovisual utility platform designed to connect content creators with an active community, amplifying their voices and reach. This new venture marks Davido’s third internet-related project in the past eight months.
Earlier this year, the musician introduced a cryptocurrency called $DAVIDO coin, which unfortunately faced a significant downturn shortly after its launch. The coin’s rapid decline led to criticism from some in the cryptocurrency community, with accusations of it being a scam or a rug-pull. Despite this setback, Davido continues to innovate in the digital space with the launch of Chatter.
