MF Production has successfully held the official media launch of Christian Honours, a national honouring platform established to celebrate deserving Christian men, women, institutions and organisations whose service has contributed meaningfully to Ghana’s development over the past decades.
Christian Honours, organisers stressed, is not an award scheme driven by fame or popularity, but a faith-forward platform rooted in Scripture and dedicated to honouring service, impact and integrity.
The initiative is guided by the theme: Honouring on the Pillars of Reputation, Recognition and Integrity; reputation built on consistent Christian living, recognition based on genuine impact, and integrity as the foundation of all service.
To ensure fairness and credibility, the platform will be supervised by the Independent Panel of Unbiased Review with Ethics and Integrity (I-PURE), which will provide due diligence and ensure honourees are selected based on defined metrics rather than influence.
At the launch, MF Production also announced that Christian Honours features 12 categories, covering personalities, churches and organisations in areas including compassion, health, education, evangelism, and Christian performing arts, as well as special honours.
At the media launch, the Secretariat announced that Christian Honours is structured around seven (7) main categories, with two categories containing three sub-categories each, bringing the total to twelve (12) categories.
These categories include:
- Motivating / Inspiring Personality
- The Compassionate Personality
- Health-Oriented Church / Organisation
- Education-Oriented Church / Organisation
- The Evangelistic Organization
- Christian Performing Arts (sub-categories: Gospel Music Group; Notable Gospel Artist; Notable Artist – Visual/Performing Arts)
- Special Honours (sub-categories: African Christian Personality; Religio-Politico Voice; Posthumous Honour)
- The Influential Personality
