The Police have arrested three more suspects believed to be responsible for the Adabraka gold robbery, following months of sustained surveillance and intelligence-led operations.
This latest arrest, which was carried out on Monday, January 19, 2026, brings the total number of arrests in connection with this crime to Seven.
The suspects have been identified as Nashiru Abubakari, also known as “Soldiar,” Fatao Mohammed, popularly called “Motorway,” and a third suspect known as “50 Cent.”
Police sources say the operation is the culmination of meticulous intelligence gathering, monitoring, and targeted tactical action, aimed at dismantling the criminal network responsible for the violent robbery.
Investigations are ongoing to trace and apprehend other accomplices, while efforts are also underway to recover exhibits linked to the crime. The suspects are currently in police custody and will be processed for court in accordance with the law.
The Ghana Police Service has reiterated its commitment to combating organised crime and ensuring public safety, urging citizens to support law enforcement with credible information.
